San Remo – Italian Riviera
Join us on our Training Camp in Liguria.
We will spend few days cycling from Piemonte to Liguria to reach Montecarlo.
Piemonte is a region of Italy bordering France and Switzerland, that sits at the foot of the Alps and well known for sophisticated cuisine and wines such as Barolo. Liguria is a crescent-shape region in the northwest Italy and its coastline is known as the Italian Riviera.
San Remo on the western coast, the Riviera di Ponente, is the Stage arrival of Milan San Remo called “The Spring Classic”. The first major classic race of the season. San Remo is home of vintage resort with a turn-of-the-century casino and a flower filled promenade.
Monte Carlo is situated on a prominent escarpment at the base of the Maritime Alpes along the French Riviera.
This is a 4 days/3 nights tour exploring the Italian Riviera, with its extraordinary landscapes of seaside and The Alps.
Among the rides we will explore some amazing climb like Cipressa and Poggio and the challenging Col de Madone in South of France.
Our staff will meet you at Milan Malpensa Airport and will transfer you to your hotel.
After checking in we will stop at Cicli Mattio shop for a bike set-up and a warm-up ride to allow each cyclist to get acquainted with the road
We will ride the 3 climbs that gives the name to our OM bikes: Eremo – Brondello – Lemma.

Today you have the opportunity to test yourself on one of the most amazing climb the Colle dell’Agnello, last year’s Queen Stage and Cima Coppi of the Giro d’Italia.
Reaching the summit with spectacular views across the Alps will be well worth the effort of the climb and will make this excursion a memorable event.
We will explore the Val Varaita with its extraordinary landscapes of alpine lakes, green pastures and steep meadows. Known as the “Emerald Valley” for the various shades of green of the vast pine and larch forests.

We will cycle from the Santuario of Vicoforte -a monumental church known for having the largest elliptical cupola in the world- up to Albenga, located on the Italian Riviera, by crossing the Colle di Calizzano with beautiful sceneries.
Transfer by van from Albenga to Sanremo.
After breakfast we will get ready to leave Sanremo for the day tour of the Apricale and Perinaldo climbs cyclin through spectacular sceneries of hills and sea.
After breakfast we will get ready to leave Sanremo for the day tour of the Pantasina. as well as the amazing climbs of Cipressa and Poggio.
From San Remo we will descend to MonteCarlo by cycling the challenging Col de Madone with breathtaking scenery of Alps and seaside.
