This is a self-guided adventure which offers greater flexibility to travelers who want freedom when it comes to travel schedules and trip itineraries.


The Colle of Sampeyre is a mountain pass in the province of Cuneo in the Cottian Alps. It connects the Varaita valley and the Maira valley.
In the footsteps of the historical stages of the Giro d’Italia where it has been feature twice, the Colle di Sampeyre can be climbed from Stroppo, Elva and Sampeyre (Val Varaita).
A ring take inter itinerary characterized by a demanding route, a classic suitable for the pedal climbers which can be undertaken in both directions of travel.
Reaching the summit of the Colle di Sampeyre will offer spectacular v across the Alps and will be worth the effort of the climb and make this excursion a memorable event.

After checking-in you will head out for a warm-up ride through the area.

Today you will explore the Val Varaita with its extraordinary landscapes of alpine lakes, green pastures and steep meadows. Known as the “emerald” valley for the various shades of green of its vegetation and the vast forests of pine and larch.
You will ride the 3 climbs that give the name to our OM bikes!

Piasco – Lemma – Brondello – Eremo – Piasco

In the afternoon you will have some time to visit Saluzzo.
