Piedmont is a region known for UNESCO World Heritage Sites (Langhe and Monviso), for great wines and great food; but also for cycling: with professional cyclists as Fausto Coppi and amazing places for riding.

DAY 1

Benvenuti in Italia!

Our staff will meet you at Milan Malpensa Airport and will transfer you to your hotel.
After checking in we will stop at Cicli Mattio shop for a bike set-up and a warm-up ride to allow each cyclist to get acquainted with the road

DAY 2

Colle Dell’Agnello

Today you will have to test yourself on one of the most amazing climb the Colle dell’Agnello, last year’s Queen Stage and Cima Coppi of the Giro d’Italia.
Reaching the summit with spectacular views across the Alps will be well worth the effort of the climb and will make this excursion a memorable event.

DAY 3

Sant’Anna di Vinadio

Transfer to Cuneo by van. We will ride to the highest sanctuary in Europe at 2035 m. named Sant’Anna di Vinadio. Located in an enchanted valley among marmots and green fields. A pilgrimage destination as well as tourist spot for the breathtaking beauty of the countryside in which it is immersed.
Last year Sant’Anna di Vinadio was a stage of the Giro D’Italia.

DAY 4

Langhe

Today we have planned an easy ride in a beautiful hilly area, inscribed on UNESCO World Heritage list for its cultural landscape, outstanding living testimony of winegrowing and winemaking traditions.
Famous for its wine, cheese and particularly for Alba’s white truffle auction market. Driving and cycling through the stunning countryside with breathtaking views, we will visit a vineyard/vinery and after tasting some incredible wines.

Fauniera

The Fauniera ia a very challenging climb (some sections are 16/17 %) and at the top there is the amazing memorial for Marco Pantani a famous Italian Pro rider.

Colle di Sampeyre -Valle Maira

The valley takes its name from the river Maira,, a right-hand tributary of the Po which flows through the valley.

Val Maira is a paradise for cyclists, so get ready! Another amazing climb with breathtaking views!

DAY 7

Pian del Re

Pian Del Re = King’s Plain
The headwaters of the Po, the longest river in Italy, are a spring seeping from a stony hillside at Pian del Re, a flat place facing the Monviso.
Monviso is the highest mountain in Italy and close to the French border. Monviso is well known for its pyramid-like shape as well as the graphic symbol of our logo.
